You can do, because you had the idea to do it…
The atmosphere wonderfully dark, you are under tension most of the time, unless you get back to the praised “safe room”, but you will never feel truly safe in this bunker. Why because the creature is always lurking in the shadows, and you need to be careful how loud you are, because the creature will hear you and come your direction asap.
But what makes this more interesting to me is that the game gives you weapons, but expects you to use them as utility as well, because you can’t kill the creature only temporarily persuaded it not to chase you. This game is a sandbox in its own way, with its fully physics based engine like you used to know from amnesia games. Which is also a bit problematic, because it takes a lot of CPU processing power because of all the physics being calculated for like every object and run kinda poorly at times of it.
Otherwise, this game is great (aside from poor performance depending on your CPU) makes you get creative, especially since a lot of stuff is randomized inside the game making every play through different and unique in its own way.
Felt like it could have been a bit longer for a first playthrough thing and performance a bit better, but that is just small points that don’t change much.
